ARCHIMEDES® / a turnkey learning environment
ARCHIMEDES® brings architecture, nature, technology and exclusive live content together in one year-round space for schools and communities.

01 / interactive anatomy
This is not a catalogue shelter. Explore four layers of a real classroom: architecture, audiovisual systems, indoor comfort and the living laboratory.

Large sliding elements connect the interior with the school garden. The OPTIMAL version can be opened to its fullest extent in the warmer months.
02 / turnkey equipment
Every configuration is tailored to the selected version, site and intended use. These are the systems the solution can include — not a generic list of accessories.

03 / living laboratory
ARCHIMEDES® can connect water management, growing, weather and digital learning in one coherent ecosystem.
A retention tank can collect water for further use.
The collected water supplies the living wall and raised beds.
A weather station makes it possible to monitor and analyse local conditions.
Observations and data connect directly with digital content.
The final combination of natural and inquiry-based elements is designed around the selected version and the school’s needs.
04 / inside the classroom
The interior is not static. A change of layout supports everyday lessons, group work, live broadcasting and public programmes.
A real video shows the retractable tier, stage and transformation of the interior for a lecture or live session.

ARCHIMEDES LIVE

06 / beyond the classroom

ARCHIMEDES® Live connects the classroom with experts, real-world topics and other participating locations. Schools receive a regular programme, teaching materials and an archive; municipalities can also involve seniors, associations and the wider public.
07 / decision
If you only need seasonal seating, a simple shelter may be enough. ARCHIMEDES® is designed for places that need to support regular learning and serve the wider community.
08 / versions
For schools seeking a strong outdoor character and the option to open the space fully during warmer months.
This is the most open version. Sliding doors and shutters retract into concealed pockets, turning the classroom into an airy pavilion in warm weather.
For schools and municipalities that prioritise a direct connection between teaching and nature and mainly use the classroom in the warmer part of the year.
An all-timber structure with a choice of cladding shade. Winter heating is possible, with a lower thermal-comfort level than the more insulated versions.
The final design and equipment are always confirmed by the project for the specific site and intended use.
09 / for public authorities
Decision-makers do not need another sales brochure. They need to know who will use the space, what the municipality must prepare, what the risks are and how the investment will operate after handover.
School, after-school groups, associations, seniors and public programmes.
Site, utilities, permissions, operation and responsibilities.
Structure, site preparation, equipment and optional elements itemised separately.
A recommended completed project that can be visited in person.
10 / verifiable references
Not anonymous logos. Real locations, authentic photographs, public sources and the option to visit the model classroom at Brno Exhibition Centre.
11 / project credibility
We distinguish institutional patronage of the project from awards received by municipalities where a classroom operates. Every claim is presented in its precise context.

Křenov received the highest award for its innovative ARCHIMEDES® outdoor classroom—a community space and smart classroom in one.
Verify the award
The city’s award-winning good practice was the ARCHIMEDES® Nature Classroom.
Verify the award
Čejč received the region’s highest award and advanced to the national round.
Verify the award
A Village of the Year award recognising long-term cooperation between the municipality, schools and community.

12 / turnkey delivery
The exact scope of responsibilities is agreed before work begins. Schools and municipalities do not have to assemble the project from unrelated suppliers without central coordination.
13 / investment framework
Following an initial assessment, we prepare a clear framework separating the structure, site preparation, equipment, optional elements and — for international projects — transport and local works. A reliable budget requires knowledge of the site and intended use.
14 / practical considerations
Yes. The level of winter comfort differs by version: OPTIMAL prioritises openness, OPTIMAL+ enhanced insulation and PREMIUM intensive year-round operation.
The permitting process depends on the site, building parameters and local regulations. An assessment of the specific project is therefore part of the preparation.
The scope is defined after reviewing the site, utilities, construction access, funding and procurement requirements.
A recommended next step, suitable versions, points for technical verification and a clear brief for further discussion within the school or municipality.
Yes, international projects are assessed individually. We define transport, assembly, the role of local contractors, permitting responsibilities and the required export or customs documentation before a binding proposal is prepared.
15 / contact
ARCHIMEDES® outdoor classrooms and the ARCHIMEDES® Live platform are created by one EduVision team. From the first site assessment to final handover, you speak directly with the people who design, prepare and deliver the project.
